We are delighted to share a new project that we have been working on with the Nottingham C.A.N Beatknots Music Academy. Alongside Music Leader @trekkah, Trainee Music Leader @finlayspenceley and @thomascomery on visuals, students from our program have been interviewing and recording a range of talented Nottingham-based Instrumentalists to record sample packs. The sample packs were originally designed to distribute to our students and connect them with local instrumentalists and sounds where they could learn about a range of instruments and mostly important make music with!
Our first Erhu sample pack, played by @lingpeng55 and recorded at Nottingham CAN Studios, offers an authentic and versatile collection of sounds. The pack integrates traditional songs, original compositions, and various FX hits, licks, and loops. Minimal processing ensures the pack captures the true sound and timbre of the Erhu.

All profit made from the samples goes directly into supporting music-making session for Young Creatives on the Beatknots Program.
